By addressing the challenges of rising temperatures and shrinking natural cover, the initiative seeks to safeguard health, livelihoods, and long-term urban well-being.
Our investments, from HTPF, will drive robust data systems, pioneering research, grassroots innovation, and scalable solutions for sustainable cooling. Recognising the deep connections between urban heat and areas like air quality, waste, ecology, and water, ReVIVE will foster cross-sector collaborations that build lasting resilience and inspire collective climate leadership.
This report explores India’s escalating urban heat challenges, particularly in Tier 2 and 3 cities that are most vulnerable to rising temperatures. This is a collaborative research report between Sattva Consulting and H T Parekh Foundation, drawing on six months of in-depth research and expert interviews to map the evolving heat landscape.
